"YOUR HOME SHOULD TELL THE STORY OF WHO YOU ARE,
AND BE A COLLECTION OF WHAT YOU LOVE."
-Nate Berkus
My name is Judy Cox, and I have been helping people love their homes for 15 years!
My first home was a charming antique farmhouse which I loved, but as our family grew, we needed more room and moved to a new larger colonial. I was juggling three kids and overwhelmed with how to make our new house warm, inviting and comfortable. I experimented with interior designers but found them all to be too stuffy, too opinionated to too expensive. So I took on the challenge myself and found my true passion! I took classes in Interior Design and my new career began to take shape.

Each job presents a new challenge for me as every person’s taste is unique…I love this aspect of my job!
Getting to know my client, their style and how they function in their space gives me an opportunity to help them take their home to the next level. Sometimes that is as simple as a fresh coat of paint and rearranging what they already have. Sometimes it is completely updating all aspects of a room. Sometimes it is building a new house from the ground. I always ask the client to point out their favorite things in their home, whether it is a painting, a rug or even a kitchen platter. This helps me understand their style and feeling they are seeking.
I love mixing old and new, or different wood tones or textures to help make a space interesting and unique. Everything in a home doesn’t need to be one of a kind, or top of the line. I help guide clients on where it makes sense to invest in a beautiful piece of furniture or an amazing piece of art or luxurious bedding. The design and the product is driven off what is most important to the client. Items from Home Goods, Pier 1 or Wayfair can be used to finish off the space and bring a cohesive look, without breaking the bank.
My goal is to help design a space the fits perfectly with the way a family lives their lives and a place they love to call home.
If your current space is not working for your family’s lifestyle, or you need a fresh, clean new look in a tired room, I can help.
If you’re not sure why, but your home does not flow and feel comfortable, I can help.
If you are considering a renovation or addition but are too afraid to take on all that is involved, I can help.
